Why Do We Issue Community Grants – Benefits for the JLT
The JLT seed grants are an important part of our mission to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact, volunteer action, collaboration and training. These seed grants not only provide needed funds to
organizations, they also give JLT members training in the grant application and assessment process.
Through the seed grant application process, the JLT identifies like-minded charities and community issues. In many cases, we partner and collaborate with these charities with non-fundraising Community Impact Events.
The total seed grants given annually by the JLT are a small portion of our community budget.
